I’m Rafa Pires. People know me as an adventurous person who loves my family and surfing. Family is everything in life and I love capturing the moments of joy that we spend with them. If you’re here, it’s because you care about these moments and want to make every new chapter that you’re living into a memory that lasts forever.
I capture storytelling images for couples in love, families gathering together, and expecting mothers and newborns. My goal is that my photos and videos make you go back in time and relive these most precious memories.

My Approach
What do you usually look for in a professional photographer? Have you ever thought about it?
Do you look for moments or for a nice pose?
I strongly believe that the best images you can ever get are the ones that come out of real moments and you’re unaware of the camera. When you forget your surroundings and enjoy the moment with your loved ones, your natural expressions shine through.
My approach is essentially to capture these moments. When I follow along with your family enjoying a day in the park, or in your garden. You won’t find me asking you to hold still, or “say cheese!”
Styling and location are important parts of my approach, and we plan that together before your session.
My sessions are minimally guided, and I let the connection, spontaneity, and love take over. I’m more of an observer, quietly creating stunning photographs of you in your natural ways.

Every session is different, like every family. I tailor make your session to your personality, hobbies, likes, and style. It is important to show who you really are and not just a beautiful image.

I've been married more than 10 years, and my house is filled with wall frames of my engagement, wedding and my kids. Well, who's house isn't, right?
As a dad, I know that I want every moment of my kids to be captured so I can remember how precious they are.
I want to turn these magic moments that you have with your family into storytelling images that you feel and relive and remember how special these timeless moments are.
The investment is based on the time we prepare you for your photo session, the video call to get to know each other, the wardrobe and styling, session day and length, and the post-production of the images, making them lively and stylized to you.
Your investment begins at $500.
